Who are we?

Can You Help?

Read On.

SERV H&B went operational on Saturday 10th January 2009 providing a bloodrunning service for Bedford Hospital. The Lister Hospital in Stevenage and the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City became operational on August 24th 2009. Barnet Hospital was then added, followed by Watford General and most recently Luton & Dunstable Hospital. Since then, we took on work for the UK Milk Bank at Queen Charlotte's & Hammersmith Hospital, and for Sue Ryder Hospice at Moggerhanger and Keech Hospice at Luton.

We are currently averaging more than 20 call outs per week and rising. Each call out saves each hospital on average £75 - £100!

Can you Help Us?

SERV H&B currently has around 100 active members, mostly riders, but we also have car drivers, Controllers (they take the requests from the hospitals and dispatch the riders/drivers) and fundraisers etc. Anyone who feels they have skills that may be useful is welcome to apply.

We need YOU!
