Who are we?

Can You Help?

Read On.

SERV H&B went operational on Saturday 10th January 2009 providing a bloodrunning service for Bedford Hospital. The Lister Hospital in Stevenage and the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City became operational on August 24th 2009.  We are hoping that the Luton and Dunstable Hospital will come on board mid to late 2010, with the possibility of Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust also requesting to receive our SERVice. *** Stop Press, RS did our 1st Frozen Breast Milk Run recently & UKAMB Regional Co-ordinator is keen for us to assist them also. ***

We are currently averaging 10 call outs per week and want to do more. Each call out saves each hospital on average £75 - £100!

Can you Help Us?

SERV H&B currently has around 70 members, mostly riders, but we also have car drivers, Controllers (they take the requests from the hospitals and dispatch the riders/drivers) and fundraisers etc, in fact anyone who feels they have skills that maybe useful.

We need YOU!

We need Bloodrunners! Our target is to have around 100 active members with SERV H&B so if you would like a chance to help save a life then please talk to the SERV H&B Co-ordinator on coordinator@servhertsbeds.org.uk.
