Route Training Barnet and Chase Farm - 4th June

(Click on any photo to enlarge)

What a great day to start route training on our two new hospitals.  Sunny warm and a light breeze what more could you ask for.

Roy had organised over the passed few weeks our first route training day, which involved 22 members split into three groups.  The first group starting at 10am with others following at 12am and 2pm.

Each group was met by Graham Smith the Blood transfussion Manager who gave us an insight into each hospital and the workings of the Pathology Dept at both sites. Why did everyone refuse tea and cucumber sandwiches at the old chase Farm Path Lab?(who said cucumber)

Pictures show groups 1-2-3 outside the path lab entrance at Chase Farm.

A big thanks go to the first 22 to be Route Trained for the two new hospitals. It is hoped that we will bring them online within the next couple of months.   Thanks Roy a great Job.
